SLEEP DISORDER SCREENING AND APPLIANCES
Sleep disorders affect about 30% of adults. Snoring, fatigue and tiredness on a regular basis are symptoms of a sleep disorder. With the use of a questionnaire, exam and take home monitor we can determine if an oral sleep appliance is appropriate or if more advanced testing is necessary. An oral sleep appliance is worn at night similar to a retainer. It holds the lower jaw forward, thus preventing airway obstruction. Proper therapy is determined by our doctors after a sleep study, which is read by a sleep physician. View patient photos
